Ope is a started service dog meaning that he is not done with his training. He is advancing quickly and needs to be tailored to his handler at this stage. We are open to an adult or child handler for him.

Ope's Story
Ope was pulled from the Dane County Humane Society in January of 2025. He has a known history and full veterinary records. He was surrendered due to his previous family moving out of the country. He has been with us in training since and has quickly mastered many skills. He has been in two foster homes while with us and is a great house guest. He is potty trained, relaxes easily when you do, is ready to play when you want to and walks well on a leash. He is safe with kids and dogs, we have not tested cats or other small animals. Ope loves to play with toys, fetch and chew. He is a great player and would love a handler committed to playdates with friends (we do not recommend daycare or dog parks for service dogs).
